David Lindes' LEGO® page

NOTICE: This page is in no way affiliated with the The LEGO Group, or any other LEGO® company. The only thing coming close to an association is that I am displaying products purchased from them.

And another note... As surely some of you have noticed, I haven't been updating this page very much. That may change in the future, but suffice it to say that my lego hobby has been on the back burner for a little while, and even when I do do something with it, I don't have a good set up for making digital images available just now... That latter issue will surely change, though... eventually.

Off topic for the page, but a cool lego project someone send me a link to, and I thought I'd share: A LEGO desk. Neat. If someone ever wants me to build something random like that ("like that" referring to random, not necessarily to a desk), I might actually be game too. :-)

Disaster!

Well, I was just going to start building a LEGO® web page, when disaster struck. I was setting up the little work area here for taking a picture of one of my first (in adult years) lego sets (set number 8440, second model), when I got cought on the power cable for this set, and it toppled to the floor, shattering. Click on the picture for a little more detail (though not the best picture quality, I fear).

About this page

As you may be able to tell from the pictures below, my primary interest in LEGO® toys is in the Technic series. I was interested in them when I was a kid, but I never actually got any. Generally, the more complex it is, the more fun I have with it... but I like some of the smaller sets too.

My ex-girlfriend, Elaine, has an almost complete 1995 Pirates series. Some of the pictures below are from that series. She also has purchased a couple of small sets for me from the Exploriens series, whose pictures may eventually show up here.

Completed (and not destroyed) sets

Here is a picture of the Motorcycle (set 8422) that my ex-girlfriend built:
